Podcast First Birthday!

Wow, it has been a year already? Pannon messaged me and told me and I couldn't believe how the time had flown so quickly. I am not super great with words but I am kind of emotional writing this. The podcast and blog would not be what it is today without all our supporters and listeners. YOU make our podcast what it is and I seriously LOVE all you for it.

Don't forget, Episode 50 is coming up fast and we are still looking for questions. The big 50 is going to be a Q&A with VFire and Pannon. Send us your questions and we will answer anything on the episode. Shout outs to everyone who submits a Q. You can email us or fill out the form on this website. We went from 0 to 100 really fast with the podcast airing in happy little May last year. Our Facebook group started the same day and it has the best people in it. It may be small but it is full of caring and supportive crafters. Everyone in there has made me so proud!

Ep. 45 - Behind the Scenes of Nerdlesque!

Behind the scenes of burlesque and cosplay with members of FANDom Nerdlesque! This is an episode about a very different side of cosplay. We do talk stripping, but we also talk about the stage, storytelling, and putting on a fun show. This was a really cool look into a side of cosplay that is not often talked about. Also – body positivity all around!!

Ep. 43 - Nihon Matsuri, A History

Nihon Matsuri is a long running Japanese Festival in Utah. Pannon and VFire talk with some of the committee members who have been helping run it and talk about the festival's history and its connection to Cosplay!

Nihon Matsuri has been around for a very long time. It's initial purpose was to show the relevance of the Japanese American culture in Salt Lake City, Utah. It has succeeded and has created many amazing memories over the years. Check out their website below and their facebook page for more information and amazing photos!

Education is key at the festival. there are many activities, shows, dances, and history on display at the festival. The festival draws in a large crowd every year from many different backgrounds and places. It is a wonderful variety of people, fun, and culture.

Kimi (Unroyalty), VFire, and Garnet Runestar were invited to the judge the festival's cosplay contest this year. It is always a gem to be a part of!
